Reason Why Is Social Media Down Internationally

Globally, social media apps like Meta’s Facebook and Instagram are unavailable. Vodafone Egypt was the first to notify the internet outage on Tuesday morning after broken submarine cables caused disturbances that caused the telecom infrastructure to become congested. Pakistan was one of the many places in the world where major social media programs had technical difficulties.

Four Red Sea internet cables were destroyed, partially disrupting internet services, according to Ary News, which is why the internet is down everywhere. The international media reports that several aquatic invaders are allegedly attacking certain waterways. The internet in East Africa, Pakistan, and India is expected to be partially disrupted by this damage.

Recall that, due to claims of cable breakage, Instagram and Facebook are inaccessible to Pakistani internet users.
